Every year hundreds of Dubuque Regional Humane Society (DRHS) volunteers help make a difference in the lives of thousands of lost, abandoned, neglected, rescued or surrendered companion animals that come through our doors. No volunteer contribution is too small or insignificant – they all help us continue our efforts as a no-kill humane society committed to rescuing, supporting, educating and advocating for our companion animal friends!
During Dubuque Days of Caring, volunteers will help organize and prepare for our annual pet supply sale. Duties will include (but are not limited to): sorting and categorizing items for the sale, carrying items up and down stairs, cleaning sale areas, organizing in our garage area, supporting cleaning efforts within the shelter, and more. There may be additional opportunities as the date gets closer.
