Who We Are

Hills & Dales is dedicated to building meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities by offering services that support the whole person and enhance community inclusion.

What We Do

Hills & Dales is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit human services organization that provides services to children and young adults with severe and profound intellectual and physical disabilities, from 26 counties throughout eastern Iowa. It has always been the primary focus to serve children and young people with significant medical needs.

The organization values a quality of life that enhances dignity, upholds rights and encourages choices. Hills & Dales maintains a focus on developing a culture of acceptance where we as a community should appreciate and value others no matter their age or ability.

Hills & Dales services:

  • Residential services with 24-hour nursing care
  • Supported Employment
  • Community-based services which include; Respite, Supported Community Living, hourly support in apartments, Group Respite, and Summer Day Program
  • Day Habilitation to enhance daily life skills (grocery shopping, volunteering, etc.)
  • Autism programs
  • Inclusive Childcare Center and preschool
  • LifeTime Program and congregate meals for older adults
