Who We Are

The Dubuque Rescue Mission has served the needs our brothers and sisters who are poor offering overnight shelter for 45 men; providing over 230 meals a day to those seeking food and fellowship and providing clothing and other material goods to those with no means to pay. We have a small staff of 5 and depend heavily on the charity of others to meet the needs of all those who seek our services.

What We Do

Dubuque Rescue Mission is a community offering hospitality, spiritual hope, food, shelter, clothing and job development to those in need. The Dubuque Rescue Mission has provided emergency shelter for men since 1932. Currently we provide 45 beds each night. The DRM has provided breakfast, lunch and supper to those in need since 1932. Currently we serve over 230 meals a day to men, women and children. We also operate urban and rural gardens in the Dubuque area. These gardens serve as educational opportunities for the community; job development and wellness for the residents that are homeless; and provides over 2000lbs of fresh produce every year to our meal program.
