Opportunities From: Volunteer DBQ

Hosting includes greeting guests, taking tickets, briefly introducing the film, and starting the film. If filmmakers are present, the host will facilitate a Q&A and after each film will record audience choice votes.  Our goal is to have 2 Venue Hosts at each screening.  Training will be provided.

Help set up the Box Office and Volunteer Central, hang posters, distribute flags and signs, organize materials before April 24 and assist with take down and storage after the Festival closes.

Drive a festival-sponsored car or larger vehicle.  Drive assigned errands per festival leadership. Mostly for on-the-spot errands and shuttle rides between distant venues.  Must provide a copy of a valid driver's license and be insured.

The Box Office is located in the main lobby of the Hotel Julien. Tasks involve selling tickets, all-access passes, and other film festival transactions.  Training is provided.

Assist with a variety of tasks that may include stepping in to help a Venue Host, delivering materials to a particular venue, staffing an information station, and other tasks as needed.
