Assisi Village is an independent and assisted living facility that is located on Stonehill's campus. We are looking for volunteers for the following areas:
Musical Talent
- If you play the piano or any instrument, consider sharing your talent with us. Our residents love hearing live music.
Nail Care
- We offer nail care on Monday in memory care and Wednesday afternoons for independent/assisted living residents. We clean, file, lotion and paint their nails.
Playing Cards
- We have several residents that enjoy playing cards and would like to have others join them.
Leading Craft Projects or Bingo
- If you are crafty and want to share your craftiness, consider doing arts and crafts at Assisi. We are also looking for individuals to help lead bingo.
Activities Assistant
- Help the Activity coordinator plan, schedule, and lead activities.
Volunteer Engagement Commitee
- Meets the first Tuesday of the month 10:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. to discuss ideas to better support our caregivers, and residents
Information Technology
- I.T. if you know basic knowledge on Ipads, cell phone, laptops, or T.V. s residents could benefit from your assistance helping them navigate their technology.
