1:1 Compassion Visit with Residents
Conduct individualized visits with residents to provide companionship, emotional support, and a caring presence. Engage residents in meaningful conversation, active listening, and shared activities based on their interests and needs. Foster a sense of connection, dignity, and well-being while offering encouragement, comfort, and spiritual support when appropriate. Help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation by building trusting relationships and creating opportunities for residents to share their stories, concerns, and experiences.
Key Activities:
- Provide friendly companionship and social interaction.
- Listen empathetically and offer emotional support.
- Engage residents in conversation, reading, games, or other meaningful activities.
- Encourage resident participation in community life and programs.
- Offer spiritual support and prayer when requested.
