Juneteenth - Saturday

Description

Join the MFC for a weekend full of Juneteenth celebrations! Juneteenth (June 19) marks the anniversary of the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce that the Civil War had ended and all enslaved people were free.

Saturday's event will be a fun filled day with a talent show, raffles, bounce house, games, community and business booths, door prizes, free food and food trucks! Volunteers will be needed to face paint, help at the MFC booth, serve food, clean up the park during the event, and help tear down after the event.

Saturday's event will be held outside so dress appropriately and bring water!
