Who We Are
ARK Advocates is a non-profit volunteer organization made up of a group of concerned adults and parents advocating with and for the needs of persons with disabilities. Our mission is to advocate and serve persons with disabilities in choosing where and how they learn, live, work, play and pray; in partnership with families and the community.
What We Do
ARK Advocates annual memberships and fundraising events assist us with providing services to those with disabilities in our community. Some of the services we provide include; advocacy, financial assistance, respite, adaptive equipment lending library, support and resources. We also have an annual awards dinner in the spring to recognize local individuals making a difference in the lives of those who have a disability. In addition to our events, we have an events calendar on our website to offer a central location for all events in our area that are related to people with special needs and their families. We want to give back to other organizations and agencies by participating in their fundraisers that also support our mission.
