Women United

Women United is an affinity group of United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States. The group administer the Sprout Into Reading program and focuses on early education and literacy. The goal of Sprout Into Reading is to get new books into the hands of low income, high-risk youth in our community. Women United also has Little Free Libraries across the United Way coverage area. Both of these projects support the goal to increase literacy opportunities and provide youth access to quality books to inspire and encourage a love of reading. 

Women United supports early education and literacy through the United Way coverage area. They provide the Sprout Into Reading Program, have numerous Little Free Libraries, have a community clothes closet (which provides free professional clothing to men and women in need), and many other initiatives and volunteer opportunities including: story time at Carnegie Stout Library, collection drives, community events and more!
