Howdy Partner. Grab your spurs and 10 gallon hats. It’s time for the annual Bowl-A-Thon.
This year the theme is “Cowboy Crusaders,” and the cause is the same: raising needed funds to provide tools, trainings, and events for Delaware County volunteer mentors and their mentees.
Here’s what ya’ll need to know:
- Form a bowling team of four people, and register your team. If you don’t have a complete team of four, call Ellen to get hitched up with another team. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: February 12.
- Once you get your bowling packet from Ellen, talk to people you know about Youth Mentoring at Helping Services, and ask them to be part of the important by mission by donating. Each bowler is asked to raise a minimum of $50 to participate.
- Dust off your bowling boots, and come to Lightning Lanes on Saturday, February 27! Each bowler will receive two games of bowling, shoes, and bowling ball, pizza buffet, a free drink ticket, and many yeehaw memories to take home!
If your friends and relatives live far away, set up an online fundraising pages for your team.
Thank you for being part of this annual event and more importantly being part of the mission to connect youth with caring, positive role models.
