Join the MFC for a weekend full of Juneteenth celebrations! Juneteenth (June 19) marks the anniversary of the day in 1865 when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce that the Civil War had ended and all enslaved people were free.
Friday's event will celebrate the rich history of Black culture through art, performances, fashion, and food. Volunteers are needed to help set up, serve food, and tear down.
