Dubuque Main Street is hosting a free card-making craft at Dubuque Farmers' Market on Saturday, June 15th from 7 a.m. until supplies are gone. We need help in two areas...
1. Donations of new/good condition card-making supplies:
- ANY COLOR OR PATTERN: construction paper, cardstock, copy paper, scrapbooking paper
- ADHESIVES: any color liquid, double-sided tape, scotch tape, roller tape, scrapbooking tape
- PAPER TRIMMERS: any level scissors, cut-outs
- STENCILS & STAMPS: any family-friendly
- COLORING SUPPLIES: stamp ink, markers, crayons, colored pencils, colored pens
- Please no Sharpies or paint
- STICKERS: any family-friendly
- CARD SETS WITH PLAIN INTERIOR
These items can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Dubuque Main Street (1071 Main for Google Maps) until June 14th.
2. Volunteers for the craft-making process require sitting/standing for up to 6 hours:
- SHIFT 1: 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- Sorting and helping children
- SHIFT 2: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Helping children and clean up.
- WHOLE SHIFT: 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
