Planting trees at the 16th St Detention Basin to add beauty, shade and landing places for migratory birds. This will be the kick off for the $1.5 million USDA grant that the City of Dubuque received. The event will begin with a ceremony at 9am at the pavilion in the 16th St detention basin. Tools and Training provided. We will need volunteers to plant and also teams to help stake and install beaver-proofing.
