Script Reading Committee Members are pivotal volunteers within our nonprofit community theatre company, dedicated to the discovery and selection of compelling plays that align with our mission to create community connection through bold, engaging live theatre. This role involves review and analysis of scripts, active participation in committee discussions, and collaboration with the Committee Chair and Artistic Director to recommend plays that have the potential to resonate with our audiences and are technically feasible in our performance space. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for theatre, analytical skills, and the ability to work as part of a team to shape the artistic direction of our theatre's seasons.
