As a nonprofit organization, Opening Doors relies on community grants and donations in order to open our doors for women and children experiencing homelessness. For 25+ years, Opening Doors has served the Dubuque community and formed wonderful partnerships that have allowed us to continue operations! Attitude of Gratitude is our annual fall gala which brings in a large portion of our yearly funding. The evening features a live and silent auction, dinner, and client testimonials! Please consider joining the Opening Doors Volunteer team to fill one of the various positions and help make this event a success!
Event Set Up: You will be responsible for assisting Opening Doors staff in setting up for Attitude of Gratitude the day before. Duties could include setting up silent auction items/tables, placing table settings, and organizing other elements of the event!
